Being overweight or obese increases your risk of developing serious health problems. The likelihood of developing cancer, coronary heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis and stroke is greatly decreased if you maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly.

Research has shown that on average, obesity reduces life expectancy by nine years. So if you think you are overweight or obese, it is important that you think about your current lifestyle and the changes you will need to make to help you lose weight.

We all know it is difficult to lose weight and keep it off but there are many resources available to get you started and to assist you along the way.

Ask in store for help with weight management. If you are seriously overweight and have other health problems, it is advisable to seek advice from your Doctor before beginning a weight management programme.
